Here is more about me.
I attended the Belk College of Business at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I graduated in May 2017 with B.S.B.A. in Marketing and a double minor. One minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management and the other in American Studies. Some may ask why Operations and Supply Chain Management. I enjoy learning the behind the scenes logistics it takes to manufacture and distribute products to keep a business running efficiently. Others ask why an American Studies minor. I believe we can study and learn from our country’s history to constantly improve the our way of life. I am currently enrolled at Western Carolina University and working towards achieving a second Bachelor’s degree. This degree will be in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Leadership. It is giving me the methods to start one’s own business as well as help existing business thrive and get to the next step. You can view more of my educational experiences on my Academic work page.
I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and have lived in, as well as attended school in, Concord, North Carolina all my life. I have two siblings, a twin brother and a younger sister. Growing up in Concord, I volunteering during the summer for several camps that were held at Wings of Eagles Ranch. Wings of Eagles is a therapeutic horse ranch that helps special needs individuals regain their strength and confidence through horse-back riding and other outdoor activities. You can view more about my volunteer work on my Volunteer page.
My passion for sports started when I was younger and began experimenting with different sports. I started off playing soccer. Even though I enjoyed playing soccer, I wanted to try other sports. I tried cheer leading one year and found out it wasn’t for me. I did not like yelling on the sidelines; I wanted to be in the action. Then, I tried basketball and found that I liked it; however, I felt like I was stuck in a giant room. So after some failed attempts at trying other sports, I went back to the sport I loved, soccer. I have played soccer competitively for about 9 years before I stopped to focus on college. Sports has always been a huge part of my life whether I am watching it on TV or participating in the action.
Since working in the car industry, I have grow to appreciate the vehicles of today’s age as well as those of the past. I love seeing the older model vehicles and looking to how far we have come with them to anticipating the newest arrivals and changes in them.
In addition to having an active sports lifestyle and car admirer, I enjoy relaxing through my creative side. I enjoy using my creative side to paint different things as well as color and design them. I design several of my creative works on Photoshop and take a breather while completing jigsaw puzzles. You can view some of my creative hobbies under the portfolio tab.
