Throughout my college class experience, there has been many projects, such as creating a marketing plan, upgrading a current business, and developing a new product like the one below. For this project, my group members and I had to take an existing product and transform it into something entirely different. In the project, we choose a sharpie marker and had to figuratively take the components apart. After we took the sharpie apart, we were given the task of creating a new products with different usages using innovation tools. We had to create different products using one of the five patterns, subtraction, task unification, multiplication, division, or attribute dependency. The write-up and powerpoint links below describe the project in more detail. This project required my group and I to think outside of the box and find uses for a product even though the use may seem absurd. The project taught my group and I how to effectively use innovation tools.

In addition to projects where my group created and changed products, group members and I consulted for different companies in projects for several classes. In one consultancy project, my group and I located a small business in the Charlotte area. After analyzing and completing a SWOT analysis of the company, we identified several problems as well as created strategies and tactics for the company to implement to overcome these problems.
In addition to working on projects in groups, some class assignments were single-person projects. In my marketing analytics class, we were given the assignment to create a mini survey of our choice to help us understand how to use the Qualtrics system. I choose to focus on the popularity of Pinterest among college students. Below is the outline of the survey.
