Volunteer Work

I volunteered at a ranch that works with the special needs community named Wings of Eagles Ranch in Concord, North Carolina. Wings of Eagles teaches people in the special needs community to ride horses as well as experience that outdoor adventures. I have volunteered at their four-week long summer camps that they hold yearly. It was an amazing experience to see the children’s faces light up when they accomplished a feat thought to be impossible like riding a horse or climbing a rock wall.

I volunteered at a fundraising event for the ranch called Dinner and Dancing in the Dirt where I worked in the kitchen preparing food for the hundreds of guest that were dining at the event.
